It was 7:00 AM on a lazy Saturday in 2026. I had coffee, I had snacks, and I had a stupid goal: beat Stick War Legacy from the first tutorial to the final credits in less than 24 hours.

For those who don’t know, Stick War Legacy is that classic mobile game where you control a nation of stick figures. You mine gold, build an army of Swordwraths, Archidons, and Magikills, and try to destroy the enemy statue. It sounds simple. It is not.

I had tried this before. Usually, I would get to the Giants or the Magikill levels and hit a wall. My army would get slaughtered, my miners would run away, and I would rage-quit by level 5.

But this time was different. I made a plan. I studied the unit counters. And 14 hours later (yes, I beat my 24-hour goal), I watched the final boss, the Final Boss Giant, crumble into dust.

Here is exactly how I did it. This is my Stick War Legacy Speedrun story.

The Setup: Why Most Players Fail

Before I tapped the “Start” button, I admitted my past mistakes. Most people lose at Stick War Legacy because they get greedy. They see the enemy statue and think, “I’ll just build 50 Swordwraths and rush.”

That never works. The enemy AI in 2026 is smart. They counter you. If you spam archers, they send shield guys. If you spam giants, they send mages.

My goal for this 24-hour challenge was economic dominance. Money wins wars. Not bravery.

Phase 1: The Grind (Levels 1-4)

I started the clock at 7:15 AM. Level 1 is the tutorial. It is boring, but I didn’t skip it. Why? Because I needed to get into the rhythm of manual control.

The Golden Rule of Stick War: Never let the AI control your miners.
If you tap a unit and take control yourself, they work 50% faster. In the first 60 seconds of every single level, I manually controlled my Miner. I clicked the gold vein like a maniac.

  • Level 1 Strategy: Ignore the enemy. Build 3 miners. Then build one Swordwrath. Just one. Let him distract the enemy while you keep mining.
  • Upgrade Priority: The moment I finished Level 1, I did not buy skins or fancy spells. I upgraded the Miner Pickaxe to level 2. Faster mining means faster army.

By Level 4 (the Spearton level), I had a routine. Four miners always. Then, a wall of Archidons (archers). The enemy Speartons are tough, but they are slow. Archers kill them before they reach your statue.

Phase 2: The Mid-Game Wall (Levels 5-8)

By 10:00 AM, I hit the “Wall.” This is where Stick War Legacy stops being a casual game and becomes a chess match.

Level 5 is the “Swordwrath Revenge.” They send a massive horde of swords at you. I lost twice in a row. My archers were useless because swords are fast.

The Comeback Strategy:
I restarted the level (time was ticking). Instead of Archers, I spammed Swordwrath of my own. But I didn’t just let them fight. I used the “Statue Shield.”
If you stand right next to your statue, the enemy has to walk into a kill box. I controlled one Swordwrath, did jump attacks over and over, and wiped out their entire wave.

Pro Tip for 2026: The jump attack is broken if you master it. Swing your sword mid-air. It stuns the enemy. I used this to beat Level 6 (the Magikill level). The Magikill summons zombies, which is scary, but the wizard himself is weak. I dodged his stun spell by jumping sideways and stabbed him to death in 5 seconds.

Upgrades at this stage:

  • Archidon Bow: Max this. A maxed-out archer kills a basic sword guy in two hits.
  • Swordwrath Helmet: Keeps your front line alive.

Phase 3: The Giant Problem (Levels 9-10)

12:30 PM. Lunch time. Also, Giant time.

Level 9 is where most of my past runs died. The Giant is a massive club-wielding monster that one-shots your entire army. You cannot trade blows with him.

I tried the “Spam Magikill” strategy. Failed. The Giant just stepped on the wizards.
I tried the “Spam Archers” strategy. The Giant walked right through the arrows.

The Winning Formula (The Kite):
You need one brave Swordwrath (controlled by YOU) and 10 Archidons.

  1. Send the Archers to attack. They will shoot the Giant.
  2. The Giant will walk toward your base.
  3. Here is the scary part: Run your Swordwrath behind the Giant.
  4. The Giant has to turn around to hit you. Every time he turns, he stops moving forward.
  5. Keep running in circles (kiting). The archers kill him while he is confused.

It took me 45 minutes to beat Level 9 because my hands got sweaty. But I did it. I unlocked the Giant for my own army.

Phase 4: The Darkest Hour (Level 11)

4:00 PM. Level 11: Ice Hills.
This level is evil. The enemy has almost maxed-out units. They have Speartons (who throw insta-kill spears) and Magikills.

I tried to rush them. I lost my entire army in 30 seconds.
I tried to defend. They just waited and built a huge army.

The “Miner Surge” Tactic:
I realized that in Stick War Legacy, the AI only attacks if you attack them first (in some levels).
So, I went full economy.

  • I built 8 Miners. Yes, 8.
  • I upgraded the Miner Bag to max.
  • I saved up 3,000 gold.

Then, I unleashed hell.
I built 3 Giants in a row. Behind them, 15 Archidons. I didn’t bother with swords or mages.
I tapped the “Attack” button, then immediately controlled my lead Giant.
I smashed the enemy statue while my Archers shot down their wizards. The level was over in 2 minutes.

Phase 5: The Final Boss (Level 12)

9:00 PM. The last level.
The enemy has a Lava Skin. Their units are on fire. They hit harder. They move faster. And when you finally destroy their statue, a giant, golden armored Giant (The Final Boss) pops out and kills everything.

How to Beat the Final Boss in 2026:

Step 1: The Setup
Do not attack immediately. Wait.
Build 6 Miners. Max out your castle’s health.
Build 4 Magikills and put them on “Defend” mode right behind your statue.
Build 10 Swordwraths and set them to “Defend.”

Step 2: The First Push
Buy the spell “Gold Rush” (x2 mining speed). Get a ton of money.
Build 2 Giants. Send them to attack the statue. While they walk, build 10 Archers.
The enemy will send their Lava army. Your Magikills will summon zombies to block them. Your Archers will shoot over the chaos.

Step 3: The Boss Fight
You destroy the statue. The screen shakes. The Boss Giant appears. He is twice the size of your Giants. He kills your two Giants instantly.
Do not panic.
This boss is slow. Use your remaining gold to build Swordwraths constantly. Just keep throwing bodies at him.
I controlled one Archidon and ran to the far corner of the map. I shot the boss for five straight minutes while he tried to walk to me. My miners kept mining gold behind the statue, and I kept spamming more archers.

Step 4: The Victory
At 11:45 PM (15 minutes to spare), the Final Boss Giant raised his club one last time… and fell.
The credits rolled. I threw my phone on the couch (carefully) and just breathed.

The “Cheat Code” You Need to Know (No Hacks)

People ask me, “Did you use a Stick War Legacy Mod APK? Did you hack unlimited gems?”

No. I didn’t use Stick War Legacy Hack tools. You don’t need them if you follow these three hard rules:

  1. The 4-Miner Rule: Never have less than 4 miners. If your miners die, you lose. Period.
  2. Counter, Don’t Spam: If they have Swords, build Archers. If they have Archers, build Speartons. If they have Speartons, build Magikills (or control a Swordwrath to flank them).
  3. Manual Control Saves Lives: When things get tough, grab a single unit. A human-controlled Swordwrath is worth ten AI-controlled ones.

Final Verdict: Is it worth it?

Beating Stick War Legacy in 24 hours was exhausting. My eyes hurt. My thumb had a blister from tapping the screen.

But watching that final statue explode? Seeing “You Win” on the screen?
Worth every second.

If you are stuck on a level, don’t give up. Go back to mining. Go back to upgrading your Stick War Legacy units. And remember: even a tiny stick figure can kill a giant if you know where to hit.

Your turn. Go beat the game.
